In October 2011, FUFJIFILM Holdings announced details of its new VISION80 medium-term management plan that begins on April 1, 2012 and closes at the end of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, the Company’s 80th anniversary. Since launching the plan, FUJIFILM Holdings has taken steps to vigorously push forward its initiatives. Please refer to the VISION80 page of this report for details.
Included in healthcare, one of our priority businesses under VISION80, is the pharmaceutical products business. Details of the Group’s structure and business field are presented in the “Close Up on the Strengths of the Pharmaceutical Products Business” section of this report.
For those readers who are unfamiliar with the Fujifilm Group, we have provided a new “FUJIFILM Overview” section, which outlines pertinent details including the Group’s distinguishing features, strengths and growth potential in a concise manner.
In an effort to provide easy access to a greater number of people, FUJIFILM Holdings has decided to terminate the publication and distribution of a hard copy Annual Report from the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. Instead of a published edition, a copy will be posted on the Company’s website. In order to ensure that access is not affected by discrepancies in viewing environments, the site does not utilize video images, flash or other presentation tools. Priority has in turn been placed on an easy-to-read screen display.
Notwithstanding the aforementioned, we have prepared a PDF version for easy download for readers who prefer a print copy. Each individual page is provided in PDF format. Readers may select pages of their choice and download as appropriate.
