Inorganic material technology
This inorganic material technology draws upon crystal formation control technology for nano-scale inorganic particulates cultivated in the field of photography and other related technologies. It significantly contributes to establishing the differentiating characteristics of Fujifilm products, including high quality and excellent stability. It has been applied and extensively utilized for products including photosensitized materials, recording materials, printing materials and toners.
Core technologies derived from this fundamental technology
Inorganic nanoparticle formation technology
This technology is used to form various particles, from photosensitive particles on photographic films to pigments, by controlling nano-scale particles. It provides highly functional features for a wide variety of products.
X-ray responsive fluorescent material technology
This x-ray responsive fluorescent crystal technology was developed for imaging plates. Applications include electronic microscopes, x-ray diffraction, etc.
Magnetic recording material technology
This is a control technology for nano-scale magnetic particles. It has been used in our proprietary NANOCUBIC technology that enables the manufacture of magnetic recording media with nanometer-scale ultra-thin coating, achieving dramatically enhanced high-density recording.
